David's planned Salmonella Sunday ride has had to be postponed, (due to illness perhaps LOL?). Instead David is leading us through the lovely roads of Hampshire etc to Devizes where we can visit the Kennet and Avon Canal centre and have lunch. Afterwards the return trip will be on a different route via Marlborough. Meet David at Newlands Corner with a full tank please from 10.00 and ready to depart at 10.30.
Thursday 9th September: Club
Night:
We meet every second Thursday of the month - all year round - from 7.30pm at "The Star" pub on the Kingston Road (adjacent to the Leatherhead Golf Club). The Star serves good food all day so if you plan to eat its best to arrive early to avoid the rush.
This month we are taking names for teams to sign up for our ever popular quiz night during our club night in October. You might be interested to know that EVERYONE who participates in a team this year will be EXEMPT from running the quiz next year.
Directions: Take Junction 9 off the M25 and follow the signs for A243 Kingston. "The Star" is just after the Leatherhead Golf Club on the left. If approaching on the A243 from the North go past the "Chessington World of Adventures", through the traffic lights and then The Star is on the right.
