Breakfast Ride - The Cockpit Cafe, Tangmere airfield 

Scramble (see what I did there? Breakfast ride and fighter airfield) Never mind, it wasn’t that funny.

Meet at Newlands Corner for a 9am take off.

With the morning sun on our port wing, we will head south low over the beautiful Surrey countryside into Hampshire.  Keeping the coast within our sights and a watchful eye for Jerry we will attempt a soft landing at Tangmere at 10.30 hours with a short taxi to a stop in front of the mess.

For those that wish to visit the museum it’s £15 and you can leisurely make your own way home.  And for those young bucks that wish to seek the thrills of the open blue yonder, after tea & bacon butties we will head back in time to cut the lawn and sit down to Sunday lunch.
