The Somme 110^th Anniversary 

My trip this year will be to remember the Battle of the Somme

Monday 29^th June – Friday 3^rd July

We will meet at Clackets and catch a morning Eurostar to Calais before we start our journey visiting various Cemeteries and War Memorials on route to our hotel. On the Actual Anniversary we will be attending several services of different nationalities.

The other days will be spend visiting Battlefields and memorials all related to the Battle of the Somme and visiting cemeteries. We have 3 people on our trip who lost relatives within this area and will find them to pay our respects. 

Our journey home will be via the Commonwealth War Graves Commission’s Information centre where all head stones and cemetery items such as Gates and signs are made for all global CWGC cemeteries.
